Larissa Z. Scanlan, MD 

is Owner and the Medical Director of VIPSkinMD, her private cosmetic practice located in Boca Raton, Florida. She is double board-certified in Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery & Facial Reconstruction. She received her Dermatology training at the University of Miami Department of Dermatology where she earned the Excellence in Dermatologic Surgery Award. While there she also received the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery Preceptorship Award for Cosmetic and Surgical Dermatology, and she was awarded the Women’s Dermatologic Society Mentorship Grant in Laser Education and Research. Currently, Dr. Scanlan serves as the President of the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgeons. When not in her cosmetic office, Dr. Scanlan performs Mohs skin cancer surgery and facial reconstruction for Skin & Cancer Associates in Margate and Delray Beach, Florida.

Dr. Scanlan has multiple publications in dermatology and is respected for her skills in the treatment and management of complex skin cancers. As a Cosmetic Dermatologist she approaches her cosmetic patents with the same academic, evidence-based paradigm.

At her cosmetic private practice in Boca Raton she offers minimally-invasive aesthetic enhancement and minor cosmetic surgical procedures as well as comprehensive care for a full range of  dermatologic concerns.

As the field of cosmetic dermatology rapidly evolves, Dr. Scanlan is committed to offering her patients the most reliable and advanced care with proven results. When not working, Dr. Scanlan enjoys art, travel, running, and spending time with her family and pets. She is also fluent in Russian.
