Concierge Medical & Cosmetic Dermatology: 

Dr. Scanlan wants to make sure that you leave your consult feeling confident that all of your questions were answered regarding your medical and/or cosmetic concern.  We do charge a $250.00 consultation fee to meet with the physician for your examination and evaluation.  This is the fee for a medical dermatology visit and treatment plan.  However for cosmetic consultations if you choose to move forward with any kind of cosmetic  treatment, this deposit will then be applied to the cost of your  procedure.  If you choose not to move forward, we do retain the deposit for your time with the physician for the time spent on a cosmetic evaluation and treatment plan. Cosmetic quotes are honored for 3 months.

MEDICAL DERMATOLOGY

Total Body Skin Examination is a thorough evaluation of your skin for any abnormalities and any medical treatment of skin conditions.  Biopsies, benign removals, or any invasive treatments may require an additional fee.  

COSMETIC DERMATOLOGY & DERMATOLOGICAL SURGERY

Botulinum Toxins are FDA approved to treat wrinkles on the face & neck; also used for teeth clenching and hyperhydrosis.

Fillers (Radiesse®, Restylane®, Juvederm®, Sculptra®) are FDA approved for volume loss and reshaping treatments.   

Chemical Peels can be superficial, medium, or deep.  Superficial peels are helpful for acne and skin discolorations, and medium depth peels are as effective for sun damage and chemotherapy creams.  Peels are a less expensive way to resurface skin, but typically not as aggressive and do not stimulate the same level of collagen remodeling as a CO2 laser.  

CO2RE® Fractionated CO2 Laser is FDA approved to remove brown sunspots, sun damage, wrinkles, improve acne scars or other scars on the face or body.  It is the gold standard in "resurfacing" lasers that can simultaneously tighten skin and stimulate collagen production to transform the skin of the face, eyes, neck, and chest.  Benefits also include reduction of skin cancer.  Depending on the level of resurfacing, results can last 2 - 5 years.

Profound® RF/Non-Surgical Facelift is FDA approved for the treatment of facial wrinkles and is used to tighten the skin of the face, jaw, neck, and under eyes.  It stimulates skin from within to produce collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid for up to 9 months after just one treatment.  It  has a proven 100% response rate for wrinkle reduction and has demonstrated to achieve 1/3 facial tightening in comparison to a surgical facelift. Results last 5 years.

Profound® RF SubQ/Body Tightening & Cellulite Treatment is FDA approved for the treatment of cellulite of the buttocks and thighs and can also tighten loose skin on other parts of the body including the belly, arms, thighs, buttocks, and knees.  It's shown to have a 94% response rate in cellulite reduction.  It is also used to remove fat under the chin with just one treatment for a more defined jawline.

NovaThreads (PDO Thread-lift) are FDA approved biodegradable surgical threads used to lift sagging skin and stimulate collagen production.  The results from the barbed-lifting sutures are instant and last for 6-12 months and are best for those patients who are looking for a short-term, minimally invasive, yet immediate result since barbed threads lift tissue immediately then get absorbed over months.  The non-barbed or smooth threads are used to stimulate collagen in precise areas to help thicken skin, but provide no lifting effect.  

Selphyl® PRP is a method of using a patient's own blood to simulate robust hair growth or wound healing.  As we age or undergo stress, our hair begins to thin or at times drastically fall out.  PRP has been shown to restore thinning hair from multiple causes.  Treatments are performed once per month for 3 months, then every 6 months to maintain hair in active growth phase.  This can also be combined with oral and/or topical medications.

Sclerotherapy is the non-surgical treatment of cosmetically bothersome red or blue leg veins.  

Pro-Nox® is a nitrous-oxide and oxygen combined delivery system used to minimize discomfort with cosmetic and surgical procedures.  With Pro-Nox, patients are entirely present and awake, but pain, anxiety, and discomfort are minimized and procedures are tolerated safely and with ease.

Surgical Procedures include acne scar or surgical scar revision, lip-lifts, lip reductions, nasal sculpting/rhinophyma correction, torn earlobe repairs, and removal of unwanted growths.
